Near the East end of Capitol Park, is a very small cactus garden that holds an amazing amount of beauty.
And bees...
I've never seen a curly-cue cacti before. So cute! I don't think the pictures do it justice though.
I was getting a shot of the impressive needles on this guy when I noticed the heart-shaped cactus in the background! Talk about cute.
My first thought was to get a close up with my phone to save for future Valentine's Day so I could post it with a pithy quote on Instagram...
However, when I maneuvered the camera into position, I noticed that someone else had already made a pithy statement with this particular cactus.
Luckily there was another heart-shaped succulent to photograph for the future.
Did I mention the bees? They love these pinkie orangey flowers as much as I do.
There were also some gorgeous pink flowers.

Not sure I agree...I like the saying, but cacti this beautiful definitely say love. Especially when they're shaped like hearts.
